The Senatobia Public Library and the Jessie J. Edwards Public Library in Coldwater received a generous $1000 donation from Sycamore Arts which will be split between the two branches. The money will be used for arts and craft supplies, as well as arts programming for the Baddour Center, Teen Tuesdays and more. Pictured above left to right are: Sycamore Arts board member Julie Correro, Delaine Stoutenburgh (Assistant Branch Manager – Coldwater) Sycamore Arts President Sharon Williams, Lori Barns (First Regional Library Director), David Powell (First Regional Library Assistant Director of Technology Service), Melanie King (Youth Specialist – Senatobia), Teresa White (Library Assistant – Senatobia) and Jesse Pool (Head Librarian – Senatobia)
Scholarship Winners 2025
The Katherine Gabbert Art Scholarship is awarded annually to graduating seniors in Tate county to further their art studies. The 2025 recipients are: Nathan Yount (pictured) from Strayhorn High, Jacqulyn Porter and Raymond Thompson from Senatobia High School. Sycamore Arts is grateful for the support of First Financial Bank, First Security Bank, and Guaranty Bank to continue this program. We wish much success to this year’s honorees.
Andy Ratliff – Entertainer
Andy Ratliff recently performed for the residents of the Senatobia Convalescent Center courtesy of the Sycamore Arts Council. Residents were thoroughly entertained and Andy is a true gem of a musician playing anything that has strings. You can reach Andy through the Senatobia Arts Council.
