
Mississippi Art Colony Traveling Art Show
The Mississippi Art Colony Traveling Show is an art exhibit from the preceding Art Colony session. The Fall Colony Session was led by guest artist, Bryce Speed and the traveling art award winners were chosen by Mr. Speed. The show is co-sponsored by the Sycamore Arts Council and the Northwest Community College Art Department.
The Mississippi Art Colony is located at, Lake Tia-O’Khata, in Louisville Mississippi. Outstanding artist/instructors teach the five-day sessions, which are held the last week in April and the first week in October. Beginning on Monday afternoon for set-up, meet and greet, dinner and a talk by the visiting artist/instructor, and winding up on Saturday with a morning critique of work produced during the session.
